Intel's new chipset which is bound to release with "Broadwell" processor family in the Q3-Q4 of 2014, will have the same socket as Intel's 8-series chipset (LGA1150).
But it does'nt mean if you want to upgrade your processor from "Haswell" to "Broadwell" you wont need to upgrade your mobo. According to Intel no-doubt that "Broadwell" and "Haswell" will share the same socket (LGA 1150) but "Broadwell" will need a new chipset because of the electrical connection differences between two and the current "Haswell" processors will also face compatability issues with the upcoming Intel's 9-series chipset. They also said that they have plans to release the refreshed "Haswell" processors which will be fully compatible with the Intel's 9-series chipset and will also support SATA-Express which will be introduces with the Intel's 9-series chipset.
