Number 1 one the list is Jonathan James also known as c0mrade in hacker's community. He had a strong command over Computer Networking and C programming. When he was just a teenager at the age of 14 he hacked into NASA's network and stole their source code to find how their space stations work. Soon after that he was tracked and arrested. When asked why did he do that, he replied "I was just checking it out for study but realized how crappy your code was".
He was in probation for an unknown period of time. He later committed suicide by firing a bullet in his head.
Second on he list is Kevin Mitnick. He was called the ghost of wires for his amazing control over the telephone wire lines. An absurd claim was also presented in the U.S courts by the lawyers claiming he can launch a nuclear missile by just using a phone. He spent almost ten years in prison after that his black hat hacking career ended and he started his own computer security consultancy agency named MITNICK SECURITY CONSULTING.
Third one on the list is Gonzalez he was claimed for collecting 170 million ATM and credit card numbers. He was a member of hacktivist who used to sell these credit cards in black market. The group was also famous by the name of "ShadowCrew". In 2010 he was sentenced 20 years in prison
