Tired of old boot screen on your Windows 7. Well there is a way to change it. The boot screen image and animation is stored in BOOTMGR system file. But don't worry its not too hard or doesn't require any tweaking skills to change it. Its all done by a software which modify the BOOTMGR system file. So lets get to how its done.
Stuff you will need:
1. Windows 7 Boot Updater. You can download it from here
2. Boot Screen of your choice. There is a huge variety of Boot Screens available at deviant art by different artist check them out here
Step 1: Run Windows 7 boot Updater.
Setp 2: Select "Load boot skin..." from "File" menu.
Step 3: Locate and select the boot skin that you acquired from deviant art or any other site. If the file is zipped. Unzip it first.
Step 4: Click "Apply".
You are all done with a new boot screen.
