Author info below every post is a must have for every blog. It
not only increases the beauty of the blog but also gives the blog a
professional look. There are many custom made widgets on the web for showing
author info below every post but the one that I like most, it looks really nice
and has all the basic social media links, is Advance Author Box Widget made by
our friend at Softglad. A sample can be seen at the end of his post as I am
also using the same widget on this blog.
To add this widget to your blogger blog:
1. Login to your Blog's dashboard and go to "Templates" and click on "Edit HTML".
2. Add the
authorbox CSS code to the template HTML code by locating ]]></b"skin> in the code and paste
the code following code above or
before it.
3. After that is
done locate <data:post.body/> in the template HTML code of your blog and paste the following code
under or after it.
Customization:
Replace the social media links in line 8, 7, 6, & 5 with the social media
links of your blog and at line 11 replace the profileimage.png with the url of
your photo and edit the info between <p> and </p> on lines 13 to 16
with your personal info.
